Autumn Quarter 2002

Week 1: Rehearsals begin M, Sept. 30 Regular WGC rehearsals W and F in Hughes. FALL RETREAT [mandatory] is Friday night, Oct. 4 from 6:30 - 10:30 p.m. in Weigel Hall 177.

Week 2: Rehearsals MWF.

Week 3: Rehearsals MWF. Saturday, Oct. 19 is Paren'ts' Weekend and Ladies First will perform at 8 p.m. in a concert with Statesmen, Percussion Ensemble, Flute Troupe, etc.

Week 4: Reg. rehearsals M,W,F. MONDAY on stage in WEIGEL. Saturday, Oct. 26 is the annual Halloween concert for UNICEF. You may dress in costume for this performance if you like; otherwise, wear black. Time is 8 p.m. in Weigel Hall. FIRST FOOTBALL BRUNCH performance is Saturday at the Ohio Union about 2 hours before kick-off.

Week 5: NO rehearsal M; W and F regular rehearsals in Hughes. SECOND FOOTBALL BRUNCH is Nov.2, Saturday.

Week 6: Reg. rehearsal M, W, F.

Week 7: No rehearsal Monday -- campus holiday; W and F regular rehearsals SUNDAY, NOV.17 DRESS REHEARSAL FOR CONCERT from 4 - 6:30 p.m.; place tba

Week 8: M and F are regular rehearsals; W. on stage in Weigel at 12:30. THIRD FOOTBALL BRUNCH is Saturday, Nov.23. (This is "BEAT MICHIGAN" week.}

Week 9: Reg. rehearsal on M; FALL CONCERT on Tuesday, Nov.26 at 8 pm.; call time is 7:15; NO rehearsals on Wed. or Friday (Thanksgiving break]

Week 10: MONDAY, DEC.2 PERFORMANCE for the University Women's Club at the Faculty Club -- be there before 12:30 if possible; we sing immediately upon arrival. Ladies First, be ready, too. W, Dec.4 in Mershon Auditorium; do evaluations Th, Dec.5, dress rehearsal in Mershon 3-6 p.m. (come when you can work around class schedule if you have conflicts, but let me know in writing); F, Dec.6, annual "Musical Celebration" concerts require us to be there at 9:20 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. for 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. ; tickets available for the public through the Mershon Auditorium box office . On Friday at 12:30, please return all music as requested. Come to Hughes Hall 100 to do this.
